1872 Masculine opens with a wide spread of citrus, petitgrain and lavender sharpened by rosemary and pepper, then turns herbal with clary sage and a little jasmine before settling on cedar, frankincense and soft musk. It is for a man who likes traditional citrus colognes but wants something richer and more carefully finished than a typical fresh scent. Spring and summer are where it does best.
